Fertile Brahma Eggs

Fertile eggs from one of our small flocks of Brahmas.

Our Rooster Fidel is a Blue Gold partridge Brahma. His ladies are Carnation, Petunia, and Tansy who are dark brahma with a little gold bleed through and Lilly who is blue silver with a hint of gold. This is a sex/color linked cross and theoretically roosters should be identifiable on hatch by their yellow color and hens will be a brownish. Hens will come out Gold partridge (37.5%) blue gold (50%) or Pyle/gold splash. (12.5%) Roosters will come out as BSO or DSO.

One of our main concerns in our breading is personality. Brahma are supposed to be gentle and placid which are traits that many breeders don't select for because they don't get tested at a show. We try to keep our lines diverse and only breed the nicest of roosters.

Eggs are dated in pencil on collection. We check yolks for bullseyes and have checked viability in an incubator. We express post in Eggspress Safe Containers within 5 days of being laid.
