From our "Cage Free" large open-aviary-raised Quixotic Quail. Our birds are free to enjoy life as a quail, living in an aviary that simulates their native home. They are fed on a mix of Organic feed and our own Organic Meal (NOT the commercial Meat, Fish or Soy Meals which are not organic). Clucky quail hens are allowed to sit and hatch their eggs and raise their chicks. We believe that the bird's happiness, health and overall wellbeing are just as important as quality food and protection from predators.

Our eggs have an 85-95% hatchability rate in our incubators and we maintain a male to female ratio of 1:3. Our eggs are handled onsite with premium fertility in mind, are packed with the greatest care and sent by courier to ensure fast delivery. However, we cannot guarantee similar hatch rates offsite as it is dependent on many factors  (i.e., power fluctuations, humidity rate and incubating temperatures).  Our eggs leave our farm in premium condition, yet fluctuating temperatures, travel conditions and accidents of mishandling can occur. As these factors are out of our control, 100% hatchability is not guaranteed, nor can we 100% guarantee the condition of the eggs when they arrive to you. With this caveat aside, our existing customers ARE thrilled with the sustainable and safe packaging, overall condition and excellent hatch rates, so we are confident you will enjoy the delight and peace of mind that comes from choosing to raise Quixotic Quail.

ONLY FRESH fertile eggs are ever shipped. Eggs are laid no later than 24hrs prior to shipping.  We ship in custom-made safety egg cartons that allow maximum strength and ideal ventilation for the eggs as they travel. We will secure the eggs as much as possible to prevent any damage from the shipping.

Our eggs are shipped on Mondays to allow 4 business days for delivery, but we will ship any day you request.

Buyer is responsible for shipping and handling fee. All shipments are through Fastway Couriers unless requested otherwise, and shipping is insured. For larger orders, feel free to contact us regarding delivery. We will work with you and try our best to to find the most economic shipping method.

WA buyers must hold a keepers permit from that state. Please ensure you message your DA number so the package can cross the border. We will hold no responsibility for your package if destroyed by border security.

However, due to several factors such as mishandling accidents from postal carriers, we will not guarantee undamaged eggs upon arrival.

PLEASE NOTE that fertility does not guarantee a successful hatch rate! Correct temperature and humidity must be maintained throughout the entire incubation period and environmental and incubation factors play a big part in a successful or unsuccessful hatch.
