Note: Selling eggs is just a hobby, that goes into the ducks food and the rest into my young kids savings accounts and my ducks are loved and well cared for in a natural, free-range environment. I gently clean eggs carefully before shipping, without causing any damage to the membrane.

Incubation Tips:

- Incubation Period: Indian Runner and Pekin ducks typically hatch in 28 days. Lockdown starts from day 25-28, when you stop misting and keep the incubator closed. Dont worry if by day 28 they still not hatched sometimes hatching can take 72 hours… Trust me.

- Humidity: Maintaining the right humidity is crucial for successful hatching. Use a good hygrometer to ensure accurate readings. Humidity should be 50-55% for the first 25 days, and 65-70% during lockdown.

- Misting: Misting with warm water at day 10 is key until “day 25” to keep the eggs from drying out and copy the natural habitat when mum leaves once a day to go and get food in water, she comes back and sits on the eggs which wets them causing humidity. After lockdown, stop misting and keep the incubator sealed.

- Incubator Recommendation: Please be aware the incubator you use plays a large factor in the success rate of hatches (for a decent cheap incubator I recommend the Janoel 24 Automatic egg incubator that I have personally used and have great success rate with.)
