I’ve always had a soft spot for livestock, especially poultry and all the quirky genetics that come with them. Sure, by day I am a cybersecurity researcher with a PhD and all that serious stuff—but come evening, I am out in the yard with my feathered friends. Poultry has been my lifelong sidekick, no matter how hectic life gets. I love diving into breed traits, colours, and personalities—and yes, I have ended up keeping quite the feathery mix! From the fluffy charm of Orpingtons, Brahmas, and Leghorns to the bold flair of Malays, Aussies, and Asils—not to mention the drama queens of the coop, the guinea fowls, and moody quackers and honkers—they all add their own flavour to the flock.

For me, poultry keeping isn’t just a hobby—it’s my happy place. It is where I preserve rare genes, tune into nature, and collect smiles, one chick at a time.
