Showcase your Poultry Breeding Project

Creating a free Breeder Profile is usually the first step for most new EggSellent members. The Breeder Profile contains all information about your project and is meant to showcase your poultry project at a glance. People will be able to find and visit your profile so make sure to write a unique and informative description about what you do and what makes your project special. Make your profile stand out by uploading images, adding a video or linking your website and social media channels. There will be a contact form on your breeder profile so people can get in touch with you easily. Your profile is up and running within a few minutes and will be automatically visible on the Breeder Map once submitted.

Follow these instructions to get started:

Click ‘Create Breeder Profile now’
Click ‘Register’ to set up your Username and Password or use the ‘Login with Facebook/Google’ button
You’ll be prompted to the Breeder Profile form where you can fill in all the details of your project.
Click ‘Submit’ – That’s it.

Congratulation, your Breeder Profile is up and running. After you hit the submit button, you’ll be ready to add offers (fertile eggs, livestock or equipment). Visit your personal Dashboard from where you can easily manage and edit all your listings.

As a next step, it’s important to create “Offer Listings” to let people know what kind of breeds and/or products you offer for sale regularly. Even if you have no stock for sale available at the moment, we advise you to create offers straight away. It will make your life much easier. Check out all information about “Offers” in the next tab to find out why.

Create Offers to manage your sales

Once you have created your Breeder Profile, you can start adding Offers. Offers can be either fertile eggs, equipment or livestock. You don’t have any stock available at the moment but still want to show people what you regularly offer? No problem at all. When creating your offer, simply check the “Currently Not Available” Box and people will know that you don’t have this offer available just now.

Once you have stock available, go to your dashboard, select your offer and uncheck the “Currently Not Available” Box. Once saved your offer will jump back to the top of the search results. It’s as simple as that! It’s never been easier to manage all your poultry sales. Once you set up your offers, they get automatically linked to your Breeder Profile under the “Offers” tab. Creating an offer has many advantages, it will safe you a lot of time since you don’t have to write something up every time you want to sell something. Once created, copy the link and share it to the relevant Facebook groups or other social media channels.

One-time Offers

If you’re not a breeder that sells regularly you can also create a one-time offer without a breeder profile. However, if you’re planning to offer eggs or stock regularly we recommend to create a breeder profile first.

Best practice for creating an offer:

Click the “Create an Offer” button.
Fill in the information and submit.
Once created, copy the link and share it with relevant Facebook groups or other social media channels.
Lean back and wait for people to approach you.
If you’re out of stock, let people know by checking the “Currently Not Available” button.
