Thirsty Chook Poultry Drinkers

Thirsty Chook poultry drinkers are a non-tip, automatic cup system that will stop your chooks from dirtying their drinking water and will also eliminate pests and nasties from contaminating their water. The magic of this chicken waterer is in the black sunlight-banning plastic – similar to that used in aquaponics – which helps to prevent algae from forming. No more slime to scrub off!

We chose to make our drinkers as safe as possible to ensure the health of your flock, therefore they do not have an added UV stabilizer. The drinkers still hold up well in the sun, but you may notice a little fading of the lids if they are constantly exposed to sunlight.  We recommend that you position your Thirsty Chook out of direct sunlight and place it under a shady tree or in the chicken coop.

Our 20 litre capacity drinkers mean that you can fill them up and forget about cleaning or refilling them for a while, depending on the size of your flock. You can even go on a little holiday with peace of mind that your chooks won’t tip over their water container and will have access to clean, fresh water.

The Thirsty Chook drinkers are constructed of strong black plastic, with a metal handle for ease of carrying and a screw-top lid for ease of refilling.
