Your Poultry Club on EggSellent
COVID has affected all of us in many different ways. Due to COVID-related restrictions many social gatherings such as poultry club meetings and poultry shows have been cancelled or postponed. Luckily, the internet provides convenient solutions to keep in touch with friends and family but also helps to maintain some social activities to a certain level during these unprecedented times.
EggSellent has a fast growing community of dedicated poultry breeders from all over Australia of which many are members of a local poultry club. With our new feature we are giving our members and everyone else the opportunity to support their poultry club in an easy yet really effective way. In return, supporting your club will help you to promote your own breeder profile on EggSellent too. In this article we will show you what you can do to support your club. It’s easy as, a ton of fun and 100% free for everyone!

1. Find your club & display your membership
A lot of Aussie poultry clubs are listed on EggSellent already. With our new feature you can publicly display your membership with that club on your EggSellent breeder profile. To do so login, navigate to ‘My Listings’, edit your breeder profile, scroll all the way down and you’ll find the field: ‘Poultry Club Membership’. Select your poultry club and save the changes.
My Listings > Select your Breeder Profile > Edit > Scroll down > Select your Poultry Club > Save changes
That’s it! You will now see a new badge on your breeder profile that automatically links to the club’s profile. That way, more people will be able to find the club and vice versa more people will find your breeder profile since it’s linked within the member section of the club. Win-win for everyone! 🙂

2. Make a club donation & share the profile
We have implemented a free donation function for all poultry clubs. That way, it’s easy for clubs to receive any kind of financial support via PayPal or credit card. If you can’t afford to make a donation yourself you can still support your club by sharing their profile on Facebook. It’s easy as, just visit the profile and hit the share button and share it to Facebook. Done! It’s all about raising awareness and giving a little bit back to the community by appreciating the efforts of volunteers of poultry clubs across Australia.

3. Write a review
Let others know what you like about your poultry club. What makes your club special and why should others join? Writing a review for your poultry club is the perfect way to say thank you. Reviews will actively help to support your club as this increases the popularity of the club profile significantly across the platform and search engines.

4. Win an Online Poultry Show for your club
