In addition to our pure breeds, we offer a number of hybrid cross layer/meat birds that will give you a great option other than a standard Isa Brown and 'pretty up' your laying flock.

We usually sell day old unsexed chicks and grow some up for our pens and for auction.  As the season progresses excess eggs may be offered for sale.  Both Southside and Northside Freaky Farmers hold both selections of hybrid birds for meat and laying chooks but the pure breeding is kept to individual programs.

Hybrids

Can be ordered through North or Southside Freaky Farms subject to availability.  These eggs/ chicks are usually offered in the 'off season' and you will receive a mix of the hybrids available.  We concentrate on the pure breeds from September through to December however we do incubate some hybrids subject to incubator space.

Roos: 2 x Frizzled Araucana 1 x Fayoumi

Large Game Layer/Meat (Hybrids)
